The Epistole (Epistle) of Milan, also falsely known as the “Edict of Milan” issued in 313 CE is the first Epistole created in the history of Christianity.

The Epistole (Epistle) of Milan, is also the mostfamous legal pronouncement in civilized history in presenting the moral and legalframework for the abolition of all forms of slavery and ensuring that at the verycore of Christianity, all forms of slavery were to be considered an abomination,heresy, crime and wicked transgression.
