| Article 168-Celebration | ||
| Canon 2997 | ||
| Celebration is one of the thirteen (13) Society Sacraments. Celebration is granted and administered when a special celebration is requested by a community not otherwise defined by a sacrament in accordance with these canons and associated approved liturgy. | ||

| Canon 2998 | ||
| A petition for the sacrament of Celebration requires at least two sponsors testifying that the proposed celebration is not otherwise represented by another sacrament and that its purpose and behaviour is in accordance with these canons. | ||
