| Canon 3001 | ||
| Foundation is one of the thirteen (13) Society Sacraments. Foundation is granted and administered at the consecration and dedication of the foundation stone or plaque to a building or location in accordance with these canons and associated approved liturgy. | ||

| Canon 3002 | ||
| No actual or simulated form of sacrifice is permitted to be associated with a Foundation sacrament, nor is the use of deceased animal flesh, blood or bone of any kind permitted to be involved. | ||
